Built soon after the Municipal Marina opened, The Marina Variety Store Restaurant and the Altine Family have been serving Charleston's favorite local dishes since 1963. The Variety Store offers breakfast, lunch and dinner to locals and visitors alike with views of the Charleston City Marina that are unmatched.

After you eat at The Variety Store Restaurant, retire downstairs to Salty Mike's Deck Bar. This full service bar offers local entertainment, friendly service and views of the Ashley River and Charleston City Marina from the back deck.

Salty Mike's is a popular hangout for local and traveling boat captains and crew, so bring your tails from the sea.
